The Journal and Seminar Committee (JSC) of the Department of Law, University of Calcutta is a student-run academic body mandated to organise, curate and document the Department’s research-oriented activities – from lectures, seminars and workshops to the Journal, Blog and Committee Gazette. Acting within the Department’s Student Committee Rules and its own Committee Specific Rules (2019), the JSC brings together Executive Members and General Members to plan the Annual Agenda, host events, oversee publications and maintain the Committee’s web resources for the benefit of the student body.
