General Board

General Board (2025–2026)

The core member base and backbone of JSC activities.

Under the Committee Specific Rules, Members (General Members) are all unelected members of the Committee who are not part of the Executive Board. The General Committee is therefore the broadest body of the JSC, composed of motivated students who sustain the Committee’s everyday work – from event logistics and research support to outreach and documentation.

The General Committee:

Supports the Executive and Editorial Boards in planning and executing events, seminars and workshops
Assists with registrations, documentation, communications and volunteer coordination
Serves as the primary pool from which future Executive Members and Sub-Committee delegates may emerge, in line with the election/delegation procedures laid down by the Rules
Provides feedback and on-ground perspective to keep the JSC accessible to the wider student body
